 Wellesley College
Exclusive Wellesley College for pregnant and parenting students? You bet! Beverly Donofrio, who wrote Riding in Cars with Boys (see book review page at http://www.collegemommagazine.com) which became a movie starring Drew Barrymore, went to Wellesley after spending her first two years of college at a community college. She lived with her son in on campus housing and then went on to graduate school at Columbia University. Our hero! As with all private schools with high tuition be careful of school loans. Try to get all expenses paid without loans. Be careful!!

 Harvard?

Harvard has recently announced that Harvard will cover expenses for all students.

When I called Harvard graduate housing I was told that undergraduates cannot room in graduate student housing. When I asked what would an undergraduate parenting student do, I was told to contact undergraduate housing, which told me no children would be allowed in undergraduate housing. I was referred back to Graduate Housing. Finally I spoke to someone who said that they had had a single mom years ago and that they would find out what they did and get back to me. I was never able to find an answer. Harvard Moms organize now!!!! Harvard needs more parenting students to be visible on campus. Be careful about school loans here.
